Shawna Renee is a passionate and dedicated educator, advocate and entrepreneur, whose life's mission revolves around empowering women to incorporate natural and alternative methods of healing into their daily wellness regimens. She firmly believes that self-care is a revolutionary act. Her advocacy efforts center on the importance of embracing one's identity, self-worth and well-being. Shawna is a vocal champion for the idea that women deserve access to a full spectrum of healing modalities and her advocacy work extends to ensuring that becomes a reality.

In addition to her educational and advocacy work, Shawna is a dynamic entrepreneur. She has successfully launched several ventures that promote holistic wellness among Black women. Whether it's a line of all-natural juices, a wellness retreat center, or a platform for connecting like-minded individuals, Shawna has consistently demonstrated her ability to translate her vision into reality

In 2023, Shawna Renee emerged from what she affectionally refers to as the “green closet” and into the spotlight as the founder of The High(Her) Society. This groundbreaking organization was born out of Shawna's personal journey as a breast cancer survivor and her profound discoveries regarding the healing power of cannabis.

The High(Her) Society is a haven for individuals seeking to learn about the therapeutic potential of cannabis. It's a place where open dialogue and education thrive and where people from all walks of life can come together to explore the diverse applications of this powerful plant.

But Shawna's vision extends beyond simply raising awareness.
